Annapurna SanctuaryTrek

This is the best numbers hiking spots in Annapurna region in Pokhara. For the pokhara people called also (‘New Switzerland’) you will know when you will be there. And you know why a trek to the Annapurna Sanctuary is deemed essential between trekkers in Nepal. The trail, which leads from the banks of the beautiful Lake Phewa to the sacred forest of Jode Yehm, lead to walking from terraced rice fields to snowy peaks in just a few days. Such range is typical ofNepal, and hardly ever found somewhere else in the world. Therefore this trek is very popular, especially between the months of September and November when the route can get very busy. During winter the number of trekkers reduces as walking in the mountains is both difficult and risky because of the heavy snowfall. Avalanches are also common mostly along the last sector of the route. The most suitable period is for that reason from end-February to end-May when the weather conditions are favorable and there are fewer people. Some trekkers do realize this itinerary in less than ten days. But this is only possible if you stick to the Modi Khola Valley, and if you don’t be unable to find your breath. The itinerary that we tell here is a round itinerary and demands at least fifteen days. It partly joins the Around the Annapurna’s Trek as we think a ‘ DE tour’ during the villages of Ghorepani and Tatopani is really importance the time and effort. However, for those in a hurry we also advise an alternative itinerary that will save three days. In general, the main route has no major difficulties. The average altitude is 3,000 meters and even the greatest point, that of the base camp of the Annapurna’s, dose not exceeds 4,000 meters. A string of village lines the route, each almost closest to the other, and most of the lodges you come across are quite comfortable.
